Fun Stuff

Trivia:
When Connery is speaking to the man delivering his shopping, Connery replies, "Of course you are." This same remark is also said by Connery in The Rock (1996), Diamonds Are Forever (1971), Rising Sun (1993) and also by Clancy Brown in the film Highlander (1986) which also stars Sean Connery. more
Goofs:
Errors made by characters (possibly deliberate errors by the filmmakers): At one point in the film Jamal mentions to Claire that, "It was Stamford... At the bar in London... He was the one who introduced Watson to Holmes", alluding to the Sherlock Holmes novels and stories. However, it wasn't at a bar in London where Stamford introduced Watson to Holmes but at a hospital's chemical laboratory near the bar. more
Quotes:
Prof. Robert Crawford: [to Jamal] Perhaps your skills do reach farther than basketball.
Jamal: "Further"
Prof. Robert Crawford: What?
Claire Spence: [to Jamal] Don't...
Jamal: [to Crawford] You said that my skills reached "farther" than basketball. "Farther" relates to distance, "further" is a definition of degree. You should have said "further".
Prof. Robert Crawford: Are you challenging me, Mr. Wallace?
Jamal: Not anymore than you challenged Coleridge.

Excellent dialog, 26 July 2006
10/10
Author: TheHonk from LazyTown

The dialog in this movie, nay, FILM, is a masterwork. Sean Connery reaches out to urban youth with his catch phrases. It's the reason he's so loved and imitated by the urban community.

The internet tubes have been clogged with websites about this film. I own 2 copies of the DVD, an extra in case my first one breaks. I can't wait for a sequel. Religious groups worship at Sean's feet, as he proclaims: "Punch the keys for God's Sake". For God's sake, see this movie. Sean Connery is a God-fearing man and the only thing God fears is Sean Connery. That should be a movie, like Face/Off.

No Sean, YOU are the man now dog.
